I spent a lot of time in the hospital when I was pregnant because I was suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum. During those brief hospital stays, my son was bored out of his mind. He was fortunate to be able to play with an iPad. But after explaining to him that most kids in the hospital don’t have iPads, he wondered what they do to keep busy.
We decided to get some coloring books and puzzles to donate to the pediatric department of our local hospital. Monster wanted to buy iPads for everyone, but until we hit the lottery, coloring books will have to do. And I know that a deed doesn’t have to be huge to make someone feel good.
